Went out with Drew and Brad to their lease in Midfield and had a great duck hunt...18 ducks, a Spec and a Crane





I shot:
- 3 Drake Spoonies
- Drake GWT
- Drake Widgeon
- Drake Pintail
- Nice big Spec
- Busted a Crane w/ Brad

12/19/09 Goose Hunt

Trey and I set up a goose spread in Bar D 4-1 today and shot 4 very nice specs.....no pics though

12/15/09

Drew, Trey, Jeff and I went out to Bar D 4 to do a combo goose and duck hunt...ended up with 2 specs and 1 canada. Farmer had drained the fields so it was a hard hunt. Trey and I hit a nice mature spec about 80 yards up.

Jeff and I went out to Bar D 4 for a combo hunt. Ended up with a mixed bag:
- 2 Canadas
- 4 Gadwalls (3D, 1H)
- 1 Mallard (H)
- 2 GW Teal (H,D)
- 2 Pintails (H,D)
- 3 Spoonbills (1D, 2H)



I got a beautiful Pintail and GW Teal Drake

Drew, Trey and Myself hunted Bar D 6 hoping for some Specs...ended up with a Blue Goose, 3 Pintails, a Spoonbill and a very nice Snow that Drew ran over with the 4 wheeler.

Duck Hunt - 11/01/09

Went out to 6C with Trey, Drew and Brad and squeezed out a 4 man limit. The birds were not working as well today but we had a cool hunt becasue we shot all 3 species of North American Teal, Green Wing, Blue Wing and Cinnamon. I shot 4 teal, a gadwall and tag teamed the cinnamon with Brad.

Season Opener 10/31/09

Went out Trey, Matthew and Dave Novak this morning and hunted 6C. The teal were everywhere and buzzing us left and right. We ended up with a 4 man limit. I shot 5 teal and a drake Pintail.

Went out with Drew this morning for a quick teal hunt. 2 man limit in 20 minutes.

Teal Hunt - 9/12/09 (Opening Day)

Opening day for teal season. Went out with Drew, Brad, Jeff, Steve, Matthew, Trey and Justin. Got an 8 man limit in about 40 minutes. Trey "supposedly" shot a banded bird today! ;)
